Trycycle.com.au has just launched online, specialising in quality recycled designer children’s and baby clothes & accessories at great prices.
Trycycle’s founder is Caroline Haddad who has worked mostly in the arts, including the film and architecture industries.
The site represents her classic style embodied by the idea that fashion today is so free. Caroline said “What I love about how we dress today is that there are no rules. I really love the way people have a basic wardrobe that suits their personal style, set off by a beautiful designer or ‘label’ piece. This holds true for all ages, including children”.
People are sure to find classic pieces at fantastic prices.
And while day-to-day clothes are ordinarily shared between friends, Caroline noticed that people seemed to hold onto the better quality clothes. She wanted to create an outlet that was easy for people to offer these pieces to others.
So at Trycycle.com.au you can buy, sell – or both.
What makes Trycycle different to other similar sites?
Trycycle is community focussed, with plans to help people within the neighbourhood. Although an online business, Caroline has an office in Glenferrie Road and lives in Armadale, where her kids to go school locally. She plans to organise fundraising in local schools and kindergartens, and said “Trycycle’s aim is to get parents together for a morning tea, donate a piece of clothing to their school or kinder which Trycycle can then turn into a little extra cash for fundraising.
It’s Trycycle’s way of fostering local, community spirit by helping people give back to their community without much sacrifice or effort.”
We all have to tighten our belts but with Trycycle you don’t have to compromise on stylish clothes for kids.
You’ll find classic pieces from the most stylish brands, including European labels such as Oilily & Nolita Pocket and locally from Seed & Country Road.
Trycycle.com.au has high standards by which they measure all the clothes sourced and a condition rating system so you can be confident that you are purchasing quality second-hand garments.
The Trycycle site is user friendly, easy to navigate, secure and everything’s in one place - unlike sites such as eBay where “it’s easy to get lost”, said Caroline.
People can also sell their clothes through Trycycle.
It’s a great way for people to clear out their cupboards, share their clothes with others and make a little extra cash as well. And Trycycle makes selling easy – they do it all.
All you need to do is send in the clothes (or they can pick up locally) where they are classified, photographed, posted on the site and ready for selling.
Trycycle is for buyers and sellers in these challenging times. Who doesn’t love the thrill of saving some money or making a little?
